Calocedrus Formosana Leaf Extract

Calocedrus Formosana, also known as Taiwan Incense Cedar, is a sacred wood with a sacred fragrance used for many centuries in worship. The cedar also has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and DNA protection properties. In following our philosophy for a sustainable approach to product development, we decided to use the extract from the leaves of the Cedar Tree and use proprietary extraction technology to achieve the same effect as the tree extraction.
Plant Source: Calocedrus Formosana Tree is Taiwan's endemic species and one of the five precious trees grown in the islands' unique climate. The trees are typically grown in the high mountain range of 500 to 1900 meters. Native has also described this tree as the "thousand years sacred wood." The precious nature of this tree also results from the tree's annual ring growth of 0.5 cm; at this rate, each tree takes at least 60 years to grow to its full size.
